I have spent the better part of my adult life studying, researching and serving as a consultant and coach in the fields of human achievement and personal development. This labor of love has taken me down many trails, which unfortunately, produced little or no results. However, my discovery of a program of timeless wisdom and practical prosperity from the 1910 classic, The Science of Getting Rich, has proven to be a life altering doctrine and has become a powerful influence in much of the work I do through my company, Dare 2 Be Great.
Born during the Civil War, Wallace D. Wattles, had experienced a life of abject failure until - later in his life, after tireless study and experimentation - he formulated and put into practice an astonishing process for acquiring wealth and abundance. Although he died relatively young at 51 and his work was largely forgotten for years, those who have studied and applied his principles throughout the 20th century have experienced remarkable results.They got rich!
Since Mr. Wattles and The Science of Getting Rich is mentioned so frequently in my book; EMPOWERMENT: Creating Lives, Families and organizations That ROCK!, I wanted to make it available to my readers who haven't yet had the opportunity to read it. I felt that some light editing had to be done to accommodate the contemporary reader. Many of the complex, outdated terminologies have been simplified and the use of female gender references have been included as much as possible.
